Our Screening Process Hiring a good contractor isn't easy. You can ask friends and family who they have used, even drive around the neighborhood to see who is getting things done. Think of Homeowners Connections as your friendly neighbor. The things we are looking for are the same things you should be looking for: customer service including returning phone calls, showing up on time, calling if they are going to be late, proper business credentials including insurance, license, reference list, photos of work, current job sites, written contracts, etc.

While we go to great lengths to keep the best crew of contractors around town, we cannot guarantee their work. You are entering into a contract with the contractor. You should check out the contractor credentials as well as talk to some previous customers. Get all your questions answered and full disclosure about the project before signing anything. You will see that we take out much of the guesswork, but each project is unique and should be treated as such.
